Seaview Yacht Club

The prestigious Seaview Yacht Club was founded in 1893 with the aim of 'encouraging amateur sailing and boat racing.' Today it proudly continues this tradition with one of the most impressive collections of yachts, including many Mermaid and Seaview One Designs. In fact, Seaview Yacht Club has the largest fleet of One Designs in the South Coast. The fleet is available to charter and throughout the summer the boats are sailed regularly.

The Seaview Yacht Club conduct a hectic sailing programme and a scatter of social events throughout the year, and guests are welcome to attend. The annual Seaview regatta in August is an exciting event where a variety of races and tasks are performed by yacht enthusiasts, making it a wonderful event to participate in or simply to enjoy it as a spectator. Training is also offered to those who wish to learn how to properly captain a yacht.
