We are pleased to say Seaview Holidays allows dogs in our Salterns Village. Dogs may accompany your holiday in a 2, 3 and 4 bedroom property!

To bring your dog on holiday simply let us know when booking under our extras tab!

Dogs on Site

All dogs must wear a collar and identity tag and be kept on a lead under the control of a responsible adult at all times, and must not be left in the property unattended.

Dog owners are responsible for clearing up after their dogs and disposing of dog waste.

The nearest disposal bin is located at the gate near the entrance to Salterns Village, at the rear of the site at the entrance to the Bridle Path, or at the Hersey Reserve car park, halfway between Tollgate and Salterns Beach, on the Seaview Duver.

We reserve the right to require the owner of any dog to leave the property if  the above  terms and conditions are not adhered to, or we consider it a nuisance or to be interfering with the general comfort of our guests in any way or any owner is in breach of the above terms.

Dog Friendly Beaches

There are restrictions in place on the Isle of Wight's main resort beaches between1st May and 30th September which prevents dogs being allowed to use them. However outside of this season dogs are welcomed as with any of the other beaches.

·         Bonchurch - both sandy and shingle incorporating the Horseshoe and Monks Bay beaches.

·         Brook - sandy beach just along from Compton Bay with some eye-catching rugged coastline and great views across the West of the Isle of Wight.a

·         Fort Victoria - has some great walks with tremendous views back across to the mainland.

·         Colwell Bay (to right of slipway) - tucked away to the West of the Island this Quality Coast Award winning beach offers superb views across the Solent

·         Dunroamin - runs from Lake Slipway up to sandy beaches of Hope Beach, Shanklin.

·         Reeth Bay - the Island's most southerly point, and a very quiet beach with loads of space for dogs to run around!

·         Bembridge - pebble and sand beach with a great collection of rock pools at low tide.

·         Woodside Bay - a local's "hidden gem" beach alongside the picturesque Wootton Creek.

·         Players Beach - another of the Island hidden secrets, tucked away below Ryde Golf Course at Binstead.

·         Seagrove - sandy expanse of beach located between the Seaview and St Helen's beaches.
